SWBAT: Define an illumination and start designing your own

After reading about illuminations, answer these questions in an email: What is an illumination? When were they made? Who made them and how were they made? Why is it important to learn about them? The email is due at the end of class.
If you are done with the emailed questions, look ahead to your project creating your own illumination. Here are examples from a different school or examples from other grades.
